Dear Neighbor,

I often think about our state's potential to transform its challenges into opportunities, and I honestly have hope for Illinois' future. This hope does not stem from faith in government, rather faith in you—the people of Illinois. Our state's history is rich with exceptional men and women who work hard and take risks to create a better life for their children and their children's children. Sadly, this dream for a better future is under attack by special interests and self-serving politicians decimating our state.

As a proud husband and father of four daughters, I understand what it means to work hard to create this better life for our future. It saddens me to see this opportunity taken from neighbors in this state.

As a family business owner, I also understand the challenges businesses face to stay afloat. While Ozinga has been privileged to prosper in Illinois for over 90 years, we've sadly had coworkers, customers, and community members succumb to these challenges. That is not a future I want to be a part of; I want to be part of the solution.

Unfortunately, prosperity is not guaranteed. Instead, it must be fought for and defended by 'we the people,' so we can confidently pass the baton to the next generation.

I am serving as your state representative to carry the torch for you and your loved ones. I promise to fight corruption, promote economic liberty, and restore moral leadership to our state. I want you and your family to have an equal opportunity to prosper and pursue your American dream in Illinois for generations to come.
