Ozinga Bill to Increase Organ Donors Passes both Houses

On Wednesday, legislation introduced by State Representative Tim Ozinga (R – Mokena) passed both chambers of the Illinois General Assembly. The legislation offers more opportunities to sign up to be organ donors in Illinois.

“This idea was brought to me by a dedicated father and great advocate of organ donations in my community. HB 4696 passed the Senate unanimously on April 6, 2022, and heads to the governor’s desk for his signature.
