September Business Highlight

For my September 2023 local business highlight, I chose to highlight Townline Surveying, PLLC in Mokena because it is an incredible, family-run business that offers excellent surveying services for the members of our community. In the short time this business has been in operation, they have been successful in their work while offering outstanding customer service and availability.

Townline Surveying was founded in 2022 by husband and wife Jason and Libby McArthur. They offer numerous types of surveying services, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and mortgage surveys. 

Opening a brand-new family business can be a challenge, especially when the economy is struggling. I commend the McArthur’s on their dedication to their business and to the customers that they serve everyday.

Hospital Visit

Earlier this month, I took some time to visit one of our incredible local hospitals, Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. The healthcare staff gave us a tour of their state-of-the-art facilities while informing us on the work they do to save lives every day. It was also a chance for me to listen to healthcare workers about what they need from me to make their jobs easier, safer, and more effective. 

Thank you to the entire staff at Silver Cross Hospital and to all of the healthcare workers that serve our communities every day!
