Thank you for your continued support as we march forward in our mission to restore the American dream in Illinois.
My dream is that you, along with all Illinoisans of all backgrounds and walks of life, have the opportunity to succeed through hard work and determination so that your family and your children can prosper for generations.
A foundational element in this pursuit of happiness is your health. For those of you who have experienced a health crisis yourself or have witnessed one of a family member or friend, you understand that you cannot take being healthy for granted. When your health is in jeopardy, all aspects of your life often come grinding to a halt.
At times like these, we must be wise and take proper precautions so each one of us can remain healthy. By doing so, we can continue to work and provide for our families, keep the Illinois engine running and avoid a future crisis.
It is in this vein that our campaign will be suspending all physical forms of campaigning until further notice.
At our last campaign rally in September, I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support with more than 400 people in attendance. Currently, the advice of health professionals, our President and the Governor is to postpone events of more than 250 people. Under this guidance and with an abundance of caution for everyone’s health, we will be rescheduling Tuesday’s election night campaign rally (date to be determined).

Finally, I urge you not to let this situation silence your vote. Please consider taking advantage of extended early voting hours to avoid crowds on election day. If you prefer to vote on election day, rest assured protocols have been put into place to ensure the cleanliness and safety of all polling places.
