MOKENA- State Representative Tim Ozinga (R-Mokena) is hosting a course for individuals who want to obtain their concealed carry license.
“As a firm believer in the Second Amendment, I want to offer my constituents a way to easily obtain their Concealed Carry License,” said Rep. Ozinga. “If someone in Illinois wants to obtain their CCL, it can often require jumping through hoops to find a course and take the time to complete it. This two-day course is an easy way for law-abiding citizens to safely obtain their CCL while learning about the importance of gun safety.”
The two-day event will take place on July 22nd and 29th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in Mokena. Participants are required to complete both days unless they are renewing a license or are a veteran.
The course will be led by Personal Safety Coach and 13-year Marine Corps Veteran, Joe Malone. He is a Board-Certified Protection Professional (CPP), NRA Basic Pistol, IL firearms instructor, and Nationally Registered EMT.
